Neither one of them has gotten over the (dead) object of their respective affections. The universe would most likely implode in the event that this actually occurs.

Insane god of fire vs. the guy who is probably the only sane guy around. This should be self-explanatory.

They don't know each other very well. Or at all. Sam doesn't have that kind of money, but she'd probably come up with some zany scheme to break in and rescue her.

Cyrus is definitely stronger, but Venati is smarter. She's the one who managed to seal all his powers.

Using magic, yes, but without it, no.

Yes, although she would probably act as if he were the character that he plays in whatever movie he's popular in.

Ailbhe is capable of stopping it, but doesn't care enough, Zippo might be able to engineer an explosive powerful enough to destroy it, but is likely to destroy the earth in the process, and Max would run around in circles screaming like a little girl. Suffice it to say, we're screwed.

Nope. She and Cyrus are an item.

Cyrus and Ailbhe murder everyone, then proceed to kill each other (or, get as close to killing each other as two immortal beings can get). Max crawls out of hiding and wins.
